Election 2008

I was really happy when Barack Obama won the presidential elect. I had a feeling that he was going to win this election but I didn't think it would be a landslide. Obama had 349 electoral votes while McCain had 147 votes.

Presidential Endorsements

The Obama endorsement is more believable because it talks of what Obama has to do when he becomes president. The McCain endorsement talks about the same thing but the way it was written, it wasn't very catchy. I liked the Obama endorsement better. They both do present good arguments but Obama's endorsement is more convincing because I am more democratic than republic. It just that Obama's words effect me more than McCains'. I just think that Obama sounds more like a president than McCain. Obama's words were more solid and more persuasive, while McCain's were more straight and didn't really make sense. "Fundimentals of our economy are good" wasn't such a good idea to keep repeating. That is why Obama is a good president for me.
