Republican or Democrat

I think the characteristics of a 'Republican' and a ' Democrat' is that the Republicans are more conservative which means they are more closed to the fact of new things and they just like how the old times went. The Democrats are more liberal. They are with the ideas that make the republicans shake. Like for instance, same sex marriage. The Republicans don't want it to be legalized because they are with the idea that a man should marry a woman, not the other way around like the Democrats want it. The Democrats want the people to be happy the way they are.

I'm a Democrat because i really want the troops from Iraq to come back home because it's no use for them to be there. All they are doing is patrolling. America should keeps it's nose out of other countries business. I am also a Democrat because i really want a different president unlike the others. Barack Obama is very persuasive in his speech. I really liked it. I felt a connection. When i watched McCain's speech...i really didn't feel a connection. I went to sleep. I want the people to be happy the way they are.
